Doc began working with me at a crisis time in life. Temperaments were not a novel concept for me however; Doc expanded my understanding of the role temperament plays in my interactions with people and with world around me.   What I learned was that everyone has needs and each one of us will find a way to meet those needs in a Godly fashion or not a Godly fashion. What I saw was that the needs I have were not a flaw or weakness. My God-given strength/talent is what gives me purpose in life. I have a gift that others do not and hence as I walk in the strength/talent others will benefit. Here’s the rub. For me to be at the top of my game my own needs must be met. With Doc’s guidance I became adept at identifying those unmet needs in me and finding ways to get those needs met in a Godly fashion. As I learned to allow myself to have needs and let them be met, I became more productive and creative.
